The best QBR software for MSPs: five options compared
ScalePad Lifecycle Manager, myITprocess, CloudRadial, Invarosoft vCIO Hero and Current, compared on what each one does for the quarterly business review, from sourced vendor pages.
The best QBR software for MSPs depends on what slows your reviews down. If it is gathering data from five tools, you need integrations and automatic reporting. If it is the roadmap and budget conversation, you need a planning tool. If it is writing a pack a customer wants to read, you need a review builder. This roundup compares five products MSPs evaluate for quarterly business reviews: ScalePad Lifecycle Manager, myITprocess, CloudRadial, Invarosoft vCIO Hero and Current. Claims about other vendors come from their own public pages as of October 2026, linked under Sources. For the meeting itself, see how to run an MSP QBR.
What QBR software for MSPs should do
- Pull evidence automatically from the PSA, RMM, backup, security and lifecycle tools, for the right customer and period.
- Hold a roadmap and a budget the customer can approve against, by quarter.
- Produce something to present: a live view, a PDF, or both, in your branding.
- Turn decisions into work: tickets, opportunities or projects in the PSA.
- Keep a record between reviews, so the next one opens on what the last one decided.
- If it uses AI: compute the numbers from the record, show the evidence behind each claim, and leave every decision with a person.
The five options
ScalePad Lifecycle Manager
Lifecycle Manager is built around the asset and warranty side of the account. ScalePad's pages describe 40+ OEM warranty lookups, assessments with reusable templates and visual maturity scoring, a Digital Maturity Index, multi-year roadmaps tied to goals and OKRs, and automated 3-year budgets tied to contracts, hardware lifecycles and initiatives. Its Deliverables layer assembles goals, roadmaps, budgets and assessments into one web presentation you can present live in white-labeled mode, send as a password-protected link or export to PDF, with partner reports such as Cork, Huntress and IT Glue alongside. The QBR page describes AI-powered deck generation and 45+ tool integrations, and the pricing page lists one client free forever with Pro starting at $250 a month.
Best for: MSPs whose reviews center on hardware lifecycle, warranty renewals and maturity assessments. Current reads Lifecycle Manager data, so the two can run together; see Current vs ScalePad Lifecycle Manager.
myITprocess
myITprocess, now part of the IT Glue and Kaseya family, covers the QBR lifecycle from agenda creation and meeting invites through follow-up and approvals. IT Glue's page says it compiles metrics from your PSA, RMM, backup and other tools into one client-facing report, turns identified risks into prioritized roadmaps with budgets and timelines, and claims assessments take half the time with pre-built standards. It surfaces IT Glue configurations inside assessments, and its Autotask connection can create tickets and opportunities for risks.
Best for: MSPs already on IT Glue and Autotask who want an alignment and assessment process with QBR scheduling built in.
CloudRadial
CloudRadial is a client portal first. Its homepage describes a white-labeled layer on top of your PSA, available in a browser, inside Microsoft's collaboration tools or as a desktop app, covering intake, forms, approvals, ticket status and reporting. For reviews, it describes QBRs generated from live data on demand so smaller accounts can get one too, a vCIO planner, and a roadmap and project progress view customers can open at any time. It lists native connections to ConnectWise, Autotask, Syncro, HaloPSA and Kaseya BMS.
Best for: MSPs who want a customer-facing portal and on-demand reports, with the QBR as one part of that portal.
Invarosoft vCIO Hero
Invarosoft lists vCIO Hero as a tool to deliver QBRs and ICT audits with "Good, Better, Best" recommendations. Its public product listing gives few details about integrations or budgeting, so ask for a demo against your own PSA before shortlisting it.
Best for: MSPs whose review is built around a tiered recommendation conversation.
Current
Current is an MSP operations platform, and its Strategic Business Review is one module in it. A review run reads every connected service for the customer and the period, builds fact sheets, plans the storyline, writes one chapter at a time, and finishes with a consistency pass. The pack covers the quarter on a page, a value ledger, a scorecard, peer comparison against your own book and published benchmarks, security posture, fleet health, hardware lifecycle detail, backup proof with dated boot-verification screenshots, priced risks, a coverage map, the road ahead, the budget picture and next steps. You present it in Live mode or deliver a branded PDF, and every build is kept as a numbered version.
The review reads from a standing roadmap per customer: an account plan with stamped goals and budget, and a quarter board where Approve, Defer and Decline work live on the road ahead slide. An approval opens an opportunity on your Expansion pipeline, and won work runs as projects synced two-way with your PSA. Numbers are computed and only words are written by AI; a section with no data drops; no money reaches a prompt. AI is included in the per-user price.
Best for: MSPs who want the review, the roadmap, the pipeline and project delivery in one place, written from every feed they already run.
The do-it-yourself option: exports and slides
The baseline every tool is measured against: PSA and RMM exports into a spreadsheet, charts pasted into a slide template, and a roadmap kept in a separate sheet. It costs no license and gives you full control of the layout. The cost is time per review, numbers that are only as current as the last export, and a roadmap that lives apart from the PSA, so approved work has to be re-entered as tickets or opportunities by hand. It works for a handful of customers a quarter and becomes hard to keep consistent across a team of account managers.
Best for: a first few reviews while you settle on a format, before you buy a tool. Keep the template you build: it becomes the checklist you hold every product below against.
Compared on the jobs that matter
Evidence gathering
- ScalePad Lifecycle Manager: 45+ to 70+ integrations depending on the page, centered on assets and warranty.
- myITprocess: PSA, RMM, backup and other tools, plus IT Glue configurations.
- CloudRadial: reports from live data through its PSA connections.
- vCIO Hero: not detailed on its public listing.
- Current: PSA tickets, CSAT, contracts and time; RMM fleet data; security tools such as Huntress and SentinelOne; backup from Datto, Veeam, Slide and others; and ScalePad Lifecycle Manager.
Roadmap and budget
- ScalePad Lifecycle Manager: multi-year roadmaps and automated 3-year budgets.
- myITprocess: roadmaps with budgets and timelines from identified risks.
- CloudRadial: a vCIO planner and a customer-visible roadmap.
- vCIO Hero: Good, Better, Best recommendations.
- Current: account plan, quarter board with theme lanes, suggestions from every feed, three years of stated budget against plan, Excel and PDF export.
Presenting
- ScalePad Lifecycle Manager: white-labeled presentation mode, protected links, PDF.
- myITprocess: a client-facing report.
- CloudRadial: reports in the client portal.
- Current: Live mode with decisions on the slide, or a branded PDF magazine.
From decision to work
- myITprocess: tickets and opportunities for risks through its Autotask connection.
- Current: approvals open opportunities; won work becomes PSA-synced projects with a critical path; the next review reconciles what was delivered.
- ScalePad Lifecycle Manager, CloudRadial and vCIO Hero: check with each vendor how decisions reach your PSA.
Questions to ask in every demo
- Which of my tools does it read today, and which data sets from each?
- What happens on a page when a feed has no data for this customer: does it print a zero, hide the section, or show an empty chart?
- Can I edit any sentence before it goes out, and is my edit kept if I rebuild?
- How does an approved roadmap item reach my PSA, and who has to re-enter it?
- Can the customer see anything about my cost or margin anywhere in the deliverable or portal?
- What is the price per user, per client or per endpoint, and what is included?
How to choose
- Start from your slowest step. Time a QBR prep end to end for one customer and see where the hours go.
- Test with your own data. Ask each vendor to build one real review from your PSA and RMM during the trial.
- Check what happens after the meeting. Decisions that do not become tickets, opportunities or projects get lost.
- If you use AI, check the guardrails: where numbers come from, what leaves your account, and how you review a draft. AI for MSP QBRs lists what to ask.
- Count the tools. A review product that needs a separate roadmap tool, a separate CRM and a separate project tool adds three more places for data to drift.
You can run more than one of these. ScalePad for warranty, Current for the review and the pipeline is a working combination, because Current reads Lifecycle Manager data. See the ScalePad integration, the QBR vs SBR glossary entry, and Current's pricing.
