Autotask proposals as projects

Autotask proposal and baseline projects show in Current like any other project. A tenant admin can choose to hide them, and anyone who manages projects can hide or keep one at a time.

Updated 2 min read

Autotask has two project types that some teams work in and others only quote in: Proposal, and Baseline (the read-only copy Autotask keeps when a proposal becomes a project). Current shows both as projects, in Projects, My Day and reports, unless your workspace chooses otherwise.

Hide them for the whole workspace

  1. 1
    Open the setting
Go to Settings › Projects and time › Autotask proposals. Only a tenant admin can change it.
  2. 2
    Pick Hide them
On the next sync, Current hides proposal and baseline projects from active work. Nothing is deleted: tasks, time and documents stay, and the change is recorded in the audit log.
  3. 3
    Bring one back
Open the Portfolio's archived list and press Restore on the project. A restored project stays a project from then on.

Hide or keep one project

While proposals show, each proposal or baseline project's page asks whether to hide it. Hide it archives that one project, with Undo. Keep it means Current won't ask again, and the workspace setting will never hide it.

Current never hides a project your PSA still has open on its own. A project leaves your active lists only when someone archives it, when your PSA deletes or archives it, or when your workspace setting hides it.
