The left menu: collapse it, star what you use, and let it remember

2 min read · Updated Sep 18, 2026

The left menu is the same menu it has always been: the pinned hubs at the top, then Delivery, your customer section, Sales, Workspace and Platform, each holding only the pages your role can open. What changed on September 18, 2026 is how much room it takes and how much it remembers.

SCREENSHOT — coming soon
The menu docked open at full width, with a starred row under Favorites and the collapse control in the footer beside your name.

Collapse it to a rail

Click the collapse control in the footer, beside your name, and the menu folds to a narrow rail of icons: the pinned hubs, your favorites, then one icon per section. Rest your pointer on the rail and it peeks open over the page so you can read the labels and click a row; move away and it folds back. Click the expand control at the bottom of the rail, or any section icon, to dock it open again. Current remembers your choice on this device.

  • The page you are on is marked with a teal bar on the rail, and a section holding it carries a small teal dot.
  • Peeking never moves the page underneath. The rail stays narrow; the open menu floats over the content.
  • On a phone or a narrow window the menu is the slide-in drawer it has always been. The rail is a desktop idea.

Star a page to keep it close

Hover any row inside a section and a star appears at its right edge. Click it and the page lists under a Favorites heading directly beneath the pinned hubs, with its section name on the right so you know what it is. Star it again to remove it. Favorites follow you across pages and reloads on this device, and a starred page that your role stops offering simply stops showing.

Sections remember

Each section header is a toggle. Open or close one and Current keeps that choice. The first time you use the menu, only the section holding the page you are on is open, so a long menu reads as a short one; the section you are in is always shown open, whatever you last chose, so you never lose your place.

Note
Nothing moved and nobody gained a page
This is the same set of rows, in the same order, behind the same permissions as before. If a page is not in your menu, ask a tenant admin about your role; collapsing or starring never changes what you can reach.
Tip
Find a page by typing instead
Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) and type any page name, or a word for it. Every row in this menu is searchable there, along with buttons inside pages and settings fields. See "Finding anything fast: global search with ⌘K".
