Suggest a feature and vote on ideas
3 min read · Updated Oct 9, 2026
The Help Center has a board for ideas. Anyone can read it. When you are signed in to Current, you can suggest a feature, vote for the ideas you want most, and we tell you when one you asked for ships.
SCREENSHOT — coming soon
The Ideas and requests board: requests with their status, how many teams asked, and the vote button.
Where to find it
- +Open the Help Center (Help in Current, or current.day/help). The Ideas and requests section sits under the categories and shows the five open requests with the most votes.
- +See all requests opens the full board. Filter it by status (Under review, Planned, In progress, Shipped) and sort it by Top or New.
- +Each request has its own page, with the full description and its status.
Suggest a feature
- 1Press Suggest a featureOn the Help Center home or the board. If you are not signed in, Current asks you to sign in first and brings you straight back.
- 2Name your ideaA short title that says what you want, for example "Bulk edit task due dates". While you type, Current shows requests that look like yours.
- 3Vote instead when it already existsIf one of them is the same idea, press Vote for this instead. Your vote counts more on one request than a second copy of it would.
- 4Say what it would help you doOptional, and the most useful part for us: the job you are trying to get done, and what gets in the way today.
- 5Post itPress Post idea. You see your idea on the board straight away, marked Waiting for review. Nobody else sees it until our team approves it.
Note
Why ideas wait for review
The board is public, so we read every idea before it goes up and make sure it names no customer, person or internal detail. We may tidy the title, or merge it into a request that asks for the same thing.
Vote
- +Press the arrow beside a request to vote. Press it again to take your vote back. You get one vote per request.
- +After you vote, the request's page asks how you would use it. One line is plenty, and it helps us build it the right way. Only our team reads these notes.
- +"Requested by 3 teams" counts the workspaces that voted, so you can see how widely an idea is wanted.
- +Shipped and declined requests no longer take votes.
What each status means
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Under review | We have read it and have not decided yet. |
| Planned | We intend to build it. |
| In progress | We are building it now. |
| Shipped | It is in Current. Everyone who voted has been told. |
| Declined | We do not plan to build it. Declined requests are kept off the main board. |
When a request ships
Everyone who voted, and the person who asked, gets a bell and an email that says "You asked for <the idea>. It's in Current now.", with a link to What's new. You hear it once per request. In What's new, an entry that answers a request shows how many teams asked for it.
When we merge your request into another one that asks for the same thing, your vote moves with it and you get a bell that points to the request it joined.
Who can post and vote
- +Everyone with a seat in Current: Tenant Admins, service managers, project managers, dispatchers, engineers, vCIOs, finance, account executives and sales managers.
- +Partner Viewers can read the board but cannot post or vote.
- +The public board never shows who asked or who voted, or which workspace they are in. Only the counts.
