Notifications in Current: the bell, email, and Teams

Current tries hard not to be noisy. The in-app bell catches everything in real time and always stays on — it's the one channel you can't turn off, because it's the one place you should always be able to check. Email and Microsoft Teams are optional add-on channels you choose per event type.

• ＋In-app bell — always on, shows every notification the moment it happens.
• ＋Email — beautifully formatted alerts sent to your inbox for the event types you choose.
• ＋Microsoft Teams — get @mentioned directly in the project's Teams channel, for teams that live in Teams day-to-day.

   Open the account menu

   Click your name or avatar in the top corner of Current.

   Choose Notifications

   This opens the notification preferences dialog — there's no separate settings page for this, it's a focused dialog you can reopen any time.

   Turn on the channels you want

   Toggle email and/or Teams delivery on. The bell stays on regardless.

   Choose your event types

   Pick which events reach you beyond the bell: weekly summary, new assignments, project alerts, mentions, comments, cleared-to-start, and won quotes. If you have CRM access, you'll also see lead, deal, campaign, import, and sync-health events grouped separately.

   Your choices apply immediately — no need to log out or refresh.

When someone @mentions you in a comment, or replies on a task or partner conversation you're part of, that fires a notification right away — to the bell always, and to email if you've turned mentions or comments on. Comments on a partner-facing conversation use a version of the alert that never exposes internal staff details, so it's safe even when a partner is on the other end of the thread.
