Use Current on your phone

2 min read · Updated Oct 15, 2026

Current works in the browser on your phone. There is nothing to install from an app store: sign in at current.day in Safari or Chrome and the same workspace opens, laid out for a small screen.

SCREENSHOT — coming soon
On a phone, a dropdown opens as a sheet from the bottom of the screen.

Add Current to your home screen

Once it is on your home screen, Current opens full screen with its own icon, without the browser's address bar.

  1. 1
    iPhone or iPad
Open current.day in Safari and sign in. Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
  2. 2
    Android
Open current.day in Chrome and sign in. Tap the menu in the top right, then Add to Home screen (some phones say Install app).
Note
It opens on My Day
The home screen icon opens My Day. You stay signed in the same way you do in the browser.

What changes on a small screen

  • +Dropdowns and the … menus open as a sheet from the bottom of the screen with large rows. Scroll it with your finger, tap a choice, or tap the dimmed page above it to close it.
  • +The page never slides sideways. A wide table scrolls left and right inside its own box while the rest of the page stays put.
  • +Tapping a field does not zoom the page in.
  • +The menu is behind the ☰ button in the top left.
