Pick up where you left off

Click a conversation to open it, then keep asking in the box underneath. ⌘[ and ⌘] step to older and newer conversations. To start a new one, click New chat, or type a question in the search box at the top and press Enter. The search box at the top of the column finds a conversation by its title.

A long conversation scrolls inside the middle column. Scroll up to read an earlier answer and a Latest button appears; click it to jump back to the newest one.

When you reopen a conversation, Current checks its sources again. If you can no longer open a record an answer was built from (your role changed, or the record moved), that part of the answer reads "Hidden: you no longer have access to this record."

How long chats are kept

A conversation is deleted 30 days after the last question in it. Pin one to keep it: click the pin at the top of the conversation or press ⌘P. You can pin up to 10; pinning an 11th says "10 pinned. Unpin one first."

Unpinning puts a conversation back on the 30-day clock, counted from its last question, so one you last used more than 30 days ago is deleted a few minutes after you unpin it.

Delete a chat

Hover a conversation in the list and click the bin, click Delete at the top of an open conversation, or press ⌘Backspace. A message says "Chat deleted", with Undo for 10 seconds (⌘Z). After that, the conversation and every answer in it are deleted for good within a few minutes.

Who can read your conversations

  • +Only you. No role in Current can open another person's conversations: not a Tenant Admin, and not Current's own support team.
  • +A conversation belongs to the workspace you asked it in. If you work in more than one workspace, each has its own history.
  • +For each question Current keeps a usage record with no words in it: when it was asked, which kinds of sources were read, how long it took and whether it was answered. It never holds your question or the answer.
  • +Your conversations are never used to answer anyone else's questions.
