Keeper: link your vault to the service desk

Pick the region your Keeper account lives in, and the service desk's documentation settings carry an Open vault link to your Keeper vault. Current stores the region and nothing else, and never reads a Keeper record.

Link Keeper and Current knows where your team's passwords live: the service desk's documentation settings show Keeper as linked with an Open vault link to your region's vault, and a ticket says Keeper is linked rather than reporting a partner's documentation as empty. Current stores the region and nothing else.

What it does for you

Where in CurrentWhat you get
Service desk ticketsWhen Keeper is the only documentation tool connected, a ticket's Docs and passwords panel says Keeper is linked and that Current does not read it, so nobody mistakes the panel for missing documentation. Settings › Service desk › Documentation shows Keeper as Linked, with Open vault opening your region's Keeper vault in a new tab.
Note
Linked only, on purpose
Keeper publishes no list of the companies you manage and no link that opens one company's vault, so a row on a ticket named after a partner would open the same general vault for every partner. Current draws no per-partner Keeper row and asks for no Keeper key. Keeper Secrets Manager is not used either: it decrypts records on the reading side, which would put a password inside Current, and Current never holds passwords.
Heads up
Not tested against a live Keeper account
The Keeper link was built from Keeper's published documentation. It makes no call to Keeper at all, so there is no connection to test. What you can check is that Open vault lands on your vault's sign-in page. If it does not, check the region.
  1. 1
    Open the Keeper card
In Current, open Settings › Integrations (Tenant Admins only), pick Keeper in the Documentation group to open its card, and press Manage. The card shows only where the service desk is on.
  2. 2
    Choose your region
Pick the data center your Keeper account lives in: United States (keepersecurity.com), Europe (keepersecurity.eu), Australia (keepersecurity.com.au), Canada (keepersecurity.ca), Japan (keepersecurity.jp) or US GovCloud (govcloud.keepersecurity.us).
  3. 3
    Press Test connection
Current checks the region and stores it. It sends nothing to Keeper and asks for no key. The card then says Keeper is linked, and that Current opens your Keeper vault in a new tab and never reads a Keeper record.

What Current keeps

The region, and nothing else: no Keeper record, no password, no token and no list of companies. The Open vault link is built from the stored region and can only ever be one of six fixed addresses, each region's Keeper Web Vault (for example https://keepersecurity.com/vault). Opening the vault is a Keeper sign-in, so Keeper's own audit records who signed in. Current records nothing, because it revealed nothing.

When something looks wrong

What you seeWhat it means
Open vault opens the wrong sign-in pageThe region on the Keeper card is not the one your account lives in. Pick the right region and press Test connection again.
A ticket says Keeper is linked and nothing is listedKeeper is the only documentation tool connected, and Current does not read it. Connect IT Glue or Passportal to list a partner's documents on its tickets.
There is no Keeper row for a partner on its ticketsThat is expected. Keeper publishes no link to one company's vault, so Current draws none.
There is no Keeper card in IntegrationsThe service desk is off in this workspace. Keeper is linked for the service desk only.
Note
Who can do this
Linking, changing the region and disconnecting Keeper are Tenant Admin actions. Only workspace admins open Settings › Service desk › Documentation.
